Games of yesteryear with the Museum of Traditional Toys of Sardinia<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A unique experience for the whole family in the picturesque Conti Vecchi Salt Pans, a historical asset enhanced by FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano.<\/em><\/h3>\n

Sunday, June 01 and Monday, June 02, 2025<\/h3>\n

The Salt Pans are a Conti Vecchi property and valued by FAI.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In collaboration with FAI and as part of the enhancement of the Conti Vecchi Salt Pans, the Museum of Traditional Toys of Sardinia<\/strong> in Zeppara (Ales) is offering an outdoor educational workshop dedicated to the games of yesteryear<\/strong>. A special opportunity for children and families to rediscover the pleasure of authentic play, the kind once experienced in squares, courtyards and fields. <\/p>\n

Young participants can learn to play with \u201csa badrunfula,\u201d<\/strong> the traditional Sardinian spinning top, and with hoop and stick<\/strong>, developing coordination, sociability and creativity, in an activity that stimulates movement and contact with nature. At the end, each child will take home his or her own spinning top, as a memento of an educational and fun experience that links past and present. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, adults can join a guided tour of the site’s historic buildings, witnesses to a long history of production and industry. This will be followed by a toy train tour of<\/strong> the salt pans for all, amid breathtaking views and naturalistic vistas of extraordinary beauty. <\/p>\n

An event that combines play, culture and discovery in the heart of one of Sardinia’s most fascinating places.<\/strong><\/p>\n
