Reopening of the Museum of the Traditional Toy of Sardinia

The Museum of Traditional Toys of Sardinia reopens to the public with a new layout that enriches the visitor experience thanks to major structural and technological interventions.

The rearrangement included:

• The renovation of the floor,
• The inclusion of new exhibitors,
• The introduction of interactive media, such as visors for an immersive experience,
• The creation of a corner shop dedicated to toys and materials inspired by Sardinian tradition.

Program of the day

• 10:00 a.m. – Institutional greetings by Councillor Amedeo Deiola
• 10:30 a.m. onwards – Free guided tours to discover the museum’s new layout and technological innovations.
• 11:30 a.m. – Creative Workshop “Cloth Dolls”
  An educational activity to rediscover the value of craft play, in which participants will be able to make their own cloth doll, following traditional techniques.
• To follow – Convivial moment with light refreshments and a discussion with the public to share impressions and ideas about the museum’s new layout and future prospects.
